If you do not have Environment Level 4 and the upgrades to keep the rare fish alive, then my advice is when you see that you have rare fry from breeding attempts, instagrow them to adult hood to get them into your species index and then sell them right away for enough to cover the cost of the instagrow formula.
Pocket Fishdom makes fish-time just a little more interactive with the help of your very own aquarium. Up to eight fish can occupy one tank. The game is free to play with in-app purchases, allowing the player to purchase the in-game, fictional currency with real-world money. Its in the supply shop. But once you get that you'll find that you wish there was a fourth lol. I am putting in my vote for the "pokedex" feature!
I thought I kept an accurate count of all the fish I have bred, however when I thought I had found them all I had actually only found ! Ooops, I must have put some check marks in the wrong boxes.
Now I get to go thru again. I would love some faster speed options also. I play tribal trouble sometimes and one of its speeds is called something like :"ludacrous" in which time flys. It has to be one of the easier programming additions.
At one point can we hope for some of these "suggestions" to be initiated? Lurker here! I was only thinking yesterday that I would really LOVE to be able to grab the "For sale" sign and 'plonk' it in another tank, instead of trying to move fishies I want to sell around Edit: I have also thought in the past that it would be better if the dead fish floated to the top of the tank, so that I didnt have to search around for them.
I know someone else has mentioned it would be good if they were not so hard to see. Instead of selling them to computer people. I would love to see an option to export fish in your tank so that users could swap fish via e-mail or downloads. Here's my wish list Name of current player at top of fish tank 2. More fish tanks 3. More fish per tank 4. Ability to have both meds at the same time 5. A more stable "stop time" for each game 8.
When I go on vacation, I come home to dead fish. It's very sad!!! I would like those swapping stuff but I bet no one would swap any canary firearrow unless they have alot of them and want to swap for a last magic fish. Quote: or a thing that only changes fin or body THAT is what the unknown chemical does! The Unknown Chemical is a chemical that you have to use it to find out what it does. It is the red one in the fat bottle. Maybe some predatory sea creatures like a crab or octopus.
Or just odd sea creatures like sea slugs just for viewing fun. I'd love a way to keep track of the fish I've found, so when I get to the end and find I've only got instead of , I can easily find the one I need to breed.
The tanks to hold 25 fish instead of An "instant" birth potion where you can get all the fish you'd like in a tank pregnant, then add it and have babies. These are the changes i will like: a trading fish via email or even just via your own computer with other accounts! Or just via your own account with another player! I'd like that too! I am just sick of buying eggs and not seeing the fish I've expected. One of my friends playing in my computer has a flagged beta which I need to make my last magic fish so I will jolly well exchange a canary firearrow with it.
And figuring out what the unknown chemical does is really exciting! As I was putting my games on stop time in preparation to leave on vacation tomorrow, I thought it would be fantastic to have a small note pad to make notes to yourself.
This game rocks! These are a few ipts that might make it even better? A way to manage your fish quicker per tank. I really like the little tune that comes up, I wish it was there more often. Quote: Thats not fair it will be too difficult what exactly are you refering to? I would love to be able to buy additional tanks and actually GET all fish swimming around at once! Maybe only three tanks until you get all seven magic fish, then you can buy more?
I would also like a fish tracker, but I printed out my own and just use a pencil to mark them as I get them. I know I've missed some, but it's sortof fun to see how many different fish I can get.
I thinka fish counter would be the best thing that would happen to this game. One problem When i bought the game I thought,"wow, I'm never gona have to buy this..
If youre gona add future enhancement then you will have the re-buy the game so you have the enhancemnts! I think that is absurd! So, maybe one of the computer technitions donw where they make the game could find a way to somehow get into your computer and chnage the game!
When LDW releases updates to games for example going from v1. Generally, you only need to download the demo of the new version from the site where you purchased the game and if asked re-enter your registration code. I want to see: 1 fish stall music 2 more levels of environment research 3 more rarer species of fish 4 more decoration for fish tank 5 let fish get sick less often.
Quote: When LDW releases updates to games for example going from v1. Can you update the game when you buy the CD?
You could do it the way that I described, by downloading the new version. If you wanted a new product CD, however, you would have to purchase it.
The games are primarily distributed via download, and CDs are offered at additional charge to accommodate customers who desire them. Quote: You could do it the way that I described, by downloading the new version.
Some people like the security of a CD, and for various reasons don't wish to make it themselves. I don't think it has anything to do with commercial benefit. I am in desperate need for more tanks GoldenGuppy here: I tried putting some of my fish free but they can't sell no matter how long I wait. Maybe you can't put it as free? I myself want some enhansments for fish tycoon. Allow different selling prices for same species. Umm a bigger snail? I think it'd be nice to have a male betta How about a coffee bar in the store to attract customers?
I notice the coffee bubble on a lot of them. I definately agree with all the posts that say fish counter. I also think we should be able to see pregnant fish easier, and to be able to just put the father into the chamber, and just breed lots of fish from him.
I think add-ons sound like a great idea, and it's good to know that if LDW do bring out a newer version, it won't cost you again. My little sister started a game, and just refused to bin fish. So everytime one got ill, she would save it, and ended up with all her money gone.
Poor girl. Thanks, Becky. Very cool and fun Ability to Buy Up to 21 Tanks One for each species or type Half the fun is seeing a whole group of these creations, or to see all your favorites.
Plus it would make it less frustrating when you end up having to sell one you end up needing later. Fish Counter! Trying to count fish Ability to trash ornaments 4.
Ability to rearrange Magic Plants 5. You only provide total count of fish found. Problem is I ended up with 2 missing. Going back and forth to do the accounting Ability to trade between games.
Give the Sea Horse more pazzazz. Like what does it do anyways Thankfully you can trash it. Maybe allow it to have a breeding function or something. Show price when grabing a fish.
Changing price can stay in isolation tank, but would be nice to see the current price when you grab the fish. Can't tell you how many time I a fish I wanted to keep which was in selling tank Visual on Pregnant fish, so you don't have to keep grabbing them to see if they are still pregnant. Well those are the biggies for me. My biggest wish - ask for confirmation before deleting a player.
I'm always afraid I'll click that button by accident and blow something up that I've put a lot of work into. Perhaps they can add a fish-fighting fuction.
You know, the fishes fight and some of them get hurt Don't know if anyone has suggested this yet or not, but there really isn't much going on with the actual store itself So how about you can purchase new store locations, start a franchise, or at the very least move to a different area in the mall which could have more room for more tanks, better customer traffic, that sort of thing. After you get a few of the magic fish, the game becomes extrememly boring as you have a retarted amount of money to throw around, so why not atleast soak up some of that extra cash with a new store venue?
Here is what i have been thinking about as adds: 1 set the begining up like rollercoaster tycoon where you can pic what location you want, then you set up the store depending on space available number of tanks, Etc This is definitely a game I could sit down and play for an evening, instead of playing 50 times a day, for 5 minutes each time.
I think if I had the speed up time option which would include the fish getting hungry faster, and losing health faster if they got sick I would have no need or desire for any extra capacity, as I wouldn't have to wait very long to "breed the fish I need to breed the fish I want", etc.
Look at the graphics of the store scene. The game is NOT great because of it's imagery, but because of it's amazing versatility, and it's options, and it's re-play value. More varieties of fish to discover, more items for purchase, that do different things, or do the same things better, more reaserching needed, etc. I think the reason the game is fun is working for everything. Maybe you have to have had the fish before in order to be able to buy it.
This way, I wouldn't have to breed 4 fish just to get the right parents to breed the specific fish I want. While it's clicked, you wouldn't be able to move any NEW fish into the tank, which would avoid accidental selling, and there would be a confirmation box when you did click it.
Something to give it a prolonged plot. Once you've bred the 7 magical ones, and discovered all the species, I don't see much fun in playing the game MANY times However, if you kept the breeding pattern, but made the rarity of any give breed a random value, and made the magical breeds random as well, each time you played the game it would be a new experience to try to discover them.
That's just one tiny idea. Heck, maybe have the lineage lines be random for each new game as well. All sorts of things could up the re-play value of this game.
I have fish get sick just like anyone else, but I've always accepted that I must buy a new medicine to cure a new disease.
That could just be me though. This is all I can think of now, but I know I've had many other ideas. All in all this is an amazing game, the likes of which I've never played before, and I only have two fears: 1. I'll finish the game, and won't want to play anymore, the fun will be gone, and 2. At some point I'll grow tired of waiting for things to happen, and just kind of stop playing.
This would be very sad. Hopefully someone is listening, and even more hopefully, we the players and the coders can use these forums constructively to help Fish Tycoon reach many more people around the world.
Thanks LDW! How about different kind fish come in different size even if they are same age I mean look at the fish in Real pet shop they all come in different size. Same with the post about the other game. It sounds like its an actual list already decided upon. But they're just ideas right? Being able to just release a fish into the wild. Some Mermaids In a big tank. London aquariam 9.
A net to catch fish. Being able to see your fish in guest mode whilst in the store. I would like to have more tanks for the fish. Because I'm out of room for my fish. Each tank holding more fish would be good too, but kind of cluttered. And a way to keep track of every species you created built into the game. Something else I think would be cool is if there was a way to order a specific fish from like a magazine or something are any of you familiar with the game Animal Crossing and the catalogue that the store keeper has of anything that you ever bought, sold, or whatever?
I too would like more tanks, hah I don't want to give any of the prettiest ones up. Ooooooh and someone mentioned mermaids, yes! The perfect way to save onto a fish that is either really cute or needed for breeding later. Add events such as in VV.. Oh can you made fish even more realistic with realistic name e. Bristlenose Corydora or Bristlenose Catfish and Veil-tail beta. Quote: a new game combining virtual villagers and fish tycoon I have a idea the staff will take care of fish, feeding them, curing them e.
You can hire more staff maybe there is events that can affect the fish. Quote: what stupid unknown chemical are you talkin about? In the store it would be nice if the shoppers looked more like the villagers from vv. Maybe with modern clothing and shoes, but the same faces, hair, and body types. Also in the store it would be handy to have an indication of what fish are remaining to be sold, possibly to the right of the "Sold" window. Well, I don't agree with in-game 'Fish Tracker' or drastical time speed-up.
Even waiting was fun. You can always do something else while waiting. I don't know about other people, but I don't play this to be a millionaire in Isola. I don't need some quick money, I don't need another shop. And if you want your fish to grow up quickly, there is always an option.
Use Growth Hormone. We don't play this game because of beautiful graphics or fast-paced gameplay, do we? Lots of suggested addition in the game might reduce the replay value and overall fun in FT. One inhancement I don't think anyone's mentioned yet that I would like to see is a click spot in the shop where you could see how many decorations you've purchased.
There already is a spot to see how many plants you've purchased so I doubt that would be a hard thing to add. It would be great if once you bought something it showed up on a shelf in the store, so you knew exactly what you've purchased, but that might be a lot of work. The fish are so clear, you can actually see the dead fish, and the colours are great.
In particular, I like the fact that there are so many more ornaments to buy, and you can move them around the tanks, and even between the tanks. I also think that it would extra great if the next version of Fish Tycoon had more decorating flexibility - more ornaments, more things that can be moved around the tank - maybe even different backgrounds?
Then I could feel like I was really customizing the game to myself and loving it even more. I really love the extra animals - the seahorse and snail - is there a way to get in some starfish or merman ornaments for the next version of the game? Maybe even a mini octopus?
I also would like to see some changes in the shelf section of my fish tank. For example, there's only room for 1 medication, either ick or fungal treatment.
