This is not what you want to get your kids. The people who data-mined this game found out that they ported from Pokemon ultra sun and ultra moon. The models that they added here were not remade at all like how they claimed. Speaking of expensive things, this game is 60 dollars, 30 dollars added with the dlc that they shouldnt of even had to cost money to begin with, the 'internet pass' that applies to litterally everything that is 3. It took them one year to make this. They need to make it so its 1 game every years, not 1 year. Its becoming a cash grab, and its showing too. The internet that you pay for, is also extremly laggy. My 3DS has better internet then a switch. Lets also mention the new 'cool fun addon' to the game. You know how USUM had mega evolution and z-moves into one game? That was cool. Now, they removed mega evolution, z-moves, and replaced it with big pokemon with some extra designs or some clouds around their head or tail.

Unlike mega evolutions, which added designs, and werent extremly overpowered unless your mewtwo or rayquaza, which were also, really fun to use, Not going to count z-moves, they were slightly op Gigantamax from what ive heard makes your pokemon have tons of hp, and it makes them have a weird move and it makes them just big.

It ruins the strategey of pokemon if this is true. It isnt fun when your trying to have a competitive battle and some kid makes their pokemon even more op then mega evolution and z-moves combined. This game is not good, its just a cash grab, and im honestly sad to say this because ive been into pokemon for a long time and i love the series. But even then they would probably ruin that..
