Where is darion dragon age
It will scuttle into the next room. The only thing in this room is another chest sealed by blue light. Investigating the pile of corpses will result in Jerrik giving an exasperated response requesting answers. Although it has disappeared, the Harvester has lead you to a Lyrium well.
These contraptions, created by Nereda, the Tevinter mage overseeing the operations at Amgarrak, are capable of shifting those who use them through dimensions of the Fade. Be sure to get Jerrik to loot the chest containing a Greater Tome of the Mortal Vessel before activating the switch. A short cutscene will play wherein the Lyrium well will spin wildly, and coat everything in a bright blue light.
Jerrik will remark that "everything looks like Brogan", and urges you to find him once again. Travel back to the previous chamber, and you will be attacked by two Warped Watchers.
After killing them, you will be free to loot the chest which contains a variety of Superb-level potions. Next to the chest is another fragment of Codex entry: Ancient Writings , detailing the dwarf overseer's request for more iron from the Miner's Guild and his use of the casteless.
Finding Brogan will trigger a difficult conversation between him and Jerrik. Brogan has been addled by his extensive exposure to pure lyrium, and thus has trouble making sense. Brogan urges you to search for Darion, the scholar who lead the expedition, in order to search for answers as to what happened in the thaig. After the conversation has ended, Brogan becomes your fourth companion. Before continuing, return to the chamber immediately before the blue fade switch, and notice a side-chamber that was sealed with the blue force field before you entered the blue fade.
Enter that side-chamber and move toward the chests in the back of the room, spawning a fight with several corpses and a boss-level Twisted Sentinel.
Once you defeat these enemies, loot the chest for another Greater Tome of the Mortal Vessel. Then, return to the blue Fade switch, exit the Fade, and return to the side-chamber, which is no longer sealed. This time you will have to fight four lieutenant-level watchers. Now, return to the blue Fade switch, re-enter the blue Fade, and return to the room in which you met Brogan.
Note, you can do all of this before getting Brogan, but the fights are tougher without him. Retrace your steps back into the room with the rune anvil. This fight is incredibly difficult, as the Twisted Sentinels will constantly barrage your party with Blizzards and Crushing Prisons. Make sure the spellcasters die first, as it will make killing the Warped Watcher a lot easier.
Another easier strategy using a ranged character, verified on the PS3 and PC, is to make your party hold position in the previous chamber, and slowly inch your Warden down the center of the room until the Warped Watcher appears.
Then, target it with a very long-distance spell or arrow to get his attention. You will probably have to go with a 10m AoE spell like Earthquake or Tempest , to get the needed range. As soon as it reacts, run back to your party in the previous chamber and wait for the enemy to come to you you will probably get hit once or twice with the pull-talent, so make sure you get around the corner before that happens, otherwise you will be thrown into the middle of the room and the other enemies will spawn.
If done correctly, only the Warped Watcher will spawn, and you can fight it in the previous chamber, before returning to the Rune Anvil chamber to fight the Twisted Sentinels. An alternate strategy that works just as well is to equip Jerrik with a bow, and tell the rest of your party to hold their ground behind the corner to the chamber's entry.
Move Jerrik into the room and fire at the Watcher. As soon as you get his aggro, run quickly behind the corner where the rest of your party stands; he can very well try to pull Jerrik to him, it won't work since Jerrik will be standing behind the wall. The Watcher will run to your party where you can safely dispose of him without the adds bothering you.
Twisted Sentinels are vulnerable to Mana Clash, with enough spellpower, you can dispose of one in a single cast of the spell, while your party focus in the other two mobs, which should effectively kill them without provoking too much damage.
After the fight has concluded, there are four chests to loot: the one in the northwestern corner of the room contains Golem Research Notes: Fire , which upgrades your Runic Golem. The three chests in the eastern annex contain respectively various weapon coatings, Golem Research Notes: Mechanics , which levels your Runic Golem, and 4 different types of arrows.
You can play this entire DLC on casual and make a save before you get to the final boss of this DLC and then switch it to Hard or Nightmare just for that part. Keep this in mind :D. Shadow Main character achieved level 20 as a rogue. Master of Arms Main character achieved level 20 as a warrior.
Archmage Main character achieved level 20 as a mage. Simply load up this DLC and start a new game without importing a character. Do this one time each as a Rogue, Warrior and Mage and it will unlock these achievements for you as you will automatically be leveled to 20 without doing any of the work. You will be joined by a dwarven rogue named Jerrik and his pet bronto Snug. Follow the tunnel and defeat any enemies you encounter. You will emerge in a chamber that is filled with a black mist that blocks your path Map Location 2.
Defeat some shrieks and the mist will part. You will now be able to find a golem at Map Location 3. Check out the golem and then head back to the chamber at Map Location 2. You will find that the path going to the left has opened to Map Location 4. Go into the room and grab a golem control rod. Head back to the golem at Map Location 3 and activate it. Go back to the chamber at Map Location 2 yet again and there will be a new path going straight to Map Location 5.
Go through the tunnel and defeat the enemies inside. When you get to Map Location 6 you will have to defeat an arcane horror, revenant and some corpses. Once all enemies have been taken care of make sure to loot the nearby chest. Afterwards follow the path to Map Location 7and enter the lost thaig of Amgarrak.
When you go down the stairs the exit seals up behind you. You start off in Amgarrak Thaig at Map Location 1. The key to getting around Amgarrak is knowing what color phase you are in. There are barriers all around this thaig and activating the right switches will change you to a different color phase allowing you to move around in the different areas. Another important task is that you must gather all 6 Golem Research Notes scattered through the thaig.
I will note these on the map with "RN". With that in mind let's move on. Go down the stairs and through the right doorway to Map Location 2. Defeat the golems in this room and go through the tunnel. At Map Location 3 you will find Brogan, but you won't be able to talk to him yet as he is stuck in the blue phase. Next head to Map Location 4 where you can hit a switch to move you into the blue phase of the thaig. Head to Map Location 5 since you can now open the blue door to get into this burial chamber.
Loot the area. Assure Jerrik that you will find out how to help his brother after all, that is your quest , and follow the hall to the Sunken Grotto. You see the creature again and are attacked by 2 phantasmal crossbowmen, a phantasmal shadow, and a phantasmal warrior.
Take them out the shadow and crossbowmen first, then work on the warrior, stun attacks work great and observe the grotto. There is a door with a purple barrier here, a note with a blue barrier, another piece of Darion's Journal, a Chest, and a Note. The note will open up the sidequest "Amgarrak's Secrets", in which you are tasked with finding research writings.
The research writings will enhance your golem ally and are also needed for an achievement. Darion's Journal here will give some insight on the colored barriers, they are Lyrium based and some sort of switch can divert the energies. Keep this in mind. Check the pile of bodies, and then head to the Blue Switch room.
In front of you is the Blue Lyrium core, a blue chest, a chest, and a pressure plate in between the chests. Loot the chest first you can use Jarrick for a Greater Tome of the Mortal Vessel, and then get ready for some puzzle solving.
Step on the pressure plate. Everything blocked by a blue barrier is now useable or otherwise able to be interacted with, and anything that did not have a blue barrier is now inaccessible. You are now within the blue barrier itself, and now know what it is, a Lyrium stream. Start off looting the blue chest right in front of you and go back into the next room to find two Warped Watchers that you have to defeat. After they are done with, loot the chest and grab the tattered note. Do not go up the stairs yet.
Instead, head down the small hall to the Blue Door which you can now open. Head down and fight through the ambush of eight Corpses and a Twisted Sentinel. Open the blue chest for a Tome of the Mortal Vessel and note the other chest that cannot be opened. This is a normal chest and you need to switch off the blue Lyrium to access it.
The Blue door will remain open even with the blue Lyrium stream controlled. Head back to the Blue Switch room and activate the switch again, run back and loot the chest only to be ambushed again! This time it is four golems so defeat them and finally open the chest for your first set of research notes. Return to the Sunken Grotto check the pile of bones and Darion's journal before heading down the hall to Brogan. Talk to Brogan to find that he wants to find Darion.
Brogan now joins your party, he is a sword and shield berserker and has almost the full list of talents for both trees. Change his tactics if you want, and make your way back to the Ancient Hall to find two Twisted Sentinels and a Warped Watcher there. Defeat them and loot the four Blue Chests here to find some weapon coatings, arrows, and two Golem Research Notes.
Check the journal, hit the switch twice one to leave the blue lyrium stream, and one to enter the purple lyrium stream and check the purple altar for some scattered notes. Now in the purple lyrium stream, you can open the purple door in the Sunken Grotto, so make you way back there.
Head through the purple door to enter the green switch room. Hit the switch here and defeat the six powerful golems that appear. Hit the switch again to enter the green lyrium and gain access to the five green chests here. Two of the chests hold research notes, and one holds a unique weapon, The Reaper's Cudgel. Check the bloody footprints here and enter the door nearby. Defeat the two Watchers and hit the switch to leave the purple lyrium stream.
Grab Darion's Journal in the back of the room to learn about The Harvester.
